Senior Scientist Oncology Bioscience - Early Targets

AstraZeneca - Waltham, MA - Senior Scientist, Oncology Bioscience- Tumor Drivers and Resistance/Early Targets You will be a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist that possesses a strong background in molecular and cellular biology and you will join our Oncology Bioscience group in Waltham. You will be a key member of a dynamic and collaborative cross-functional team supporting target validation and early small molecule lead identification for oncology targets, including evaluation of candidate PROTAC targets. Your primary responsibility will be to validate oncology targets derived from internal and external efforts and enable drug discovery. You will develop cell-based assays to explore novel biology and design strategies to identify early lead molecules and understand drug mechanism of action. These efforts will ultimately lead to the identification of oncology drug candidates and their progression towards clinical development.
