Electrical Engineer

PMX Industries - Cedar Rapids, IA - Responsible for electrical improvements of all equipment to ensure safety, quality and established production levels. Prepare modifications to original drawings and new designs and evaluate effectiveness and accuracy. Modify PLC and HMI programs. Utilize network technologies. Ability to troubleshoot drives, PLC's, HMI's and software. Proficiency in Auto CAD Electrical 2016. Responsible for project management and provide training on new equipment. Supports timely determination of machine problems using available test equipment. Read and interpret electrical prints for problem diagnosis. Ensure that accurate prints are available for electricians. Previous experience in metal processing and/or paper processing. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering OR equivalent of both education and experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience of relevant electrical engineering.
