INGREDIENTS
1 cup mushroom
2 tablespoon butter
1 bay leaf
6 cloves garlic
1 cup vegetable broth
1 onion
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoon fresh cream
2 tablespoon milk
0 salt as required
How to make Mushroom Cappuccino
Step 1
Clean the mushrooms and cut them into thick slices. Add some butter in a pan and add 1 bay leaf with onions and garlic. Once the onions are translucent, add the mushrooms and saute them to change their colour. Cook this for 1 minute.
Step 2
Now, add in ½ the vegetable stock and let this cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat. Let it cool down and take this mix out in a blender, get rid of the bay leaf, blend into a puree. Add this back to the pan and add the remaining stock. Cook for 10 more minutes and season with salt and pepper. Add the cream into it.
Step 3
Pour the soup in cups and in another bowl, add chilled milk and whisk it until it becomes frothy. Add this froth over the soup, sprinkle cinnamon powder and serve!
