Bioinformatician, Oncology Knowledge Graph Team

AstraZeneca - Gaithersburg, MD - Bioinformatician, Oncology Knowledge Graph team, AstraZeneca R&D Gaithersburg MD Essential Requirements: BSc, and Master's or PhD, combining life science (biology/medical/genomics), computational and analytical training. Relevant experience in industry or applied research. A deep understanding of the molecular drivers of human diseases, experience in oncology and/or drug discovery would be an advantage. Expertise in biological/health data, especially multiomic technologies. Proficient with relevant computational tools for scientific data wrangling, analysis, visualisation and interpretation, e.g. R, R Shiny, Python, Shell, SQL/NoSQL, networked and cloud-based systems, software versioning tools (e.g. Git/Github). Experience contributing to the research community through publication and conferences. Skilled in effective communication of complex data and methods to a non-expert.
