Cpl Life Sciences - Medics - New Jersey - Director/Senior Director Clinical Development Neurology Location: New Jersey / Remote Salary: Executive level basic salary Benefits: Bonus, Stock Options, 401K & more Working for a global pharmaceutical company, this leader in Neurology development are currently in the market for a Director/Senior Director Clinical Research. This newly created role will work on Epilepsy and Sleep programmes within Clinical Development, responsible for the design and conduct of clinical studies mainly within Phases 2 and 3 development. This organisation has a large presence in the Neurology field and has a team of highly experienced MDs/PhDs that you will work closely with to pioneer Neuroscience studies. Contributing to the organisation by analysing and communicating the results for these studies you will also provide a strategic input into the clinical development group. This is a great opportunity for an expert in the Neurology field to continue their growth with an innovative pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities will include: Design and oversee the conduct of clinical studies for Phase 2 and 3 development compounds Analyze and communicate results on studies, providing input into clinical development strategies Act as the therapy area lead for Neuroscience providing internal and external training as required Analyse clinical data, including safety monitoring, collaborating with cross functional teams when required Develop clinical protocols to meet the objectives of the CDP Participate in selection of new compounds and IND filings in Neuroscience, particularly in the area of Epilepsy and Sleep therapeutics Present at advisory board meetings, liaising with KOLs regarding protocol study strategy and issues Requirements: MD, DO or equivalent US Medical Degree 2 years experience in Clinical Development in the pharmaceutical industry Neuroscience experience preferably in Sleep / Epilepsy Broad Clinical Development expertise encompassing both Early & Late phase development Working knowledge of the IND/NDA/CTA/MAA processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Remuneration: The successful candidate will receive an industry leading basic salary with a benefits package to include the likes of a bonus scheme, stock options, 401k, medical benefits & more Contact/How to learn more: To find out more information or apply, contact Jacob Burrows via email Jacob.burrows@cpl.com CPL Physicians is a specialist US based retained search and contingent staffing firm focusing exclusively on the recruitment of pharmaceutical physicians for pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, Clinical Research Organisations (CROs) and Regulatory Authorities.
