Security Post Commander

MPS Security - Corona, CA - The Post Commander oversees all day-to-day operations for MPS Security at the client property (worksite/post), 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Post Commander is selected by the executive management of MPS Security and reports directly to the Security Manager of MPS Security for all issues, problems, or concerns. The Post Commander can be re-titled as “Project Manager” based on client specifications. The Post Commander is responsible for the following (non-inclusive) – Implementation of the company’s Mission Statement Scheduling and payroll for the post’s assigned security personnel Coordinating the on-site training of all assigned security personnel Application and enforcement of company policy and procedure Inspection of the uniforms and appearance of all assigned security personnel Care and maintenance of all company and/or client property/equipment Management and security of all documentation and shift paperwork Implementation of contractually required duties/tasks, applicable to the client, by assigned security personnel Visitor/contractor ingress and egress, to include vehicle and pedestrian traffic Evaluation of the work performance of all assigned security personnel Provide recommendations for promotion or demotion of assigned security personnel in rank, title, or position Disciplinary action of assigned security personnel Coordination of all security-related issues with the client’s Risk Management Department (if applicable) Interact with the client, and serve as a liaison between the client and the company Troubleshoot all issues, problems, or concerns by the client with the quality of service The Post Commander may have up to five Shift Supervisors that report to them. The ideal candidate will have a variety of experiences that will include a combination of the following skills and qualifications. BSIS Guard Card (Required) More than two (2) years experience as a Security Manager of a site/facility operating over 688 hours per week. IAHSS qualifications to Basis Level Certification FEMA IS 100, 700 and 800. CalOES credentials in Emergency Management DHS Critical Infrastructure Sector qualification specific to the Healthcare and Public Health Sector No entry will be provided at the Corporate Office to any person without a scheduled appointment.
