Moringa Sabzi

Moringa leaves or drumstick leaves are calcium, protein, iron, antioxidants and amino acids that are super beneficial for your body. If you too don't like the taste of moringa leaves that much, then here is a simple yet tasty recipe that you can easily include in your diet. With just a handful of ingredients, you can make a perfect aloo-moringa sabzi that can be served either for lunch or for dinner. This sabzi can be served either with dal or with curd along with chapatis on the side. Aloo Moringa sabzi is not only loaded with nutrients but is also a scrumptious dish that would be loved by both kids and adults alike. To increase the taste of the sabzi, serve this dish with 2 tbsp malai and pair it up with chapati. Be careful while adding salt as moringa leaves shrink after cooking. INGREDIENTS

2 cup drumstick leaves

1 potato

1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 tomato

1 teaspoon ginger

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

0 salt as required

1 tablespoon ghee

1 onion

1 teaspoon garlic paste

How to make Moringa Sabzi

Step 1

Take drumstick leaves or moringa leaves and wash them properly. Now drain all the water and pat them dry gently.

Step 2

In a pan, heat ghee. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them splutter for a minute. Now add chopped onions along with finely minced ginger and garlic paste. Give a mix and cook until the onions turn translucent.

Step 3

Now add tomatoes to the pan along with turmeric. Cover with a lid and cook for 5-6 minutes. Once tomatoes are mushy, the masala is ready.

Step 4

Now add the washed drumstick leaves along with chopped boiled potatoes. Give a mix and cook well. Once the leaves shrink in size, they are cooked. Adjust salt as per taste.

Step 5

Serve the sabzi with curd and chapati. Enjoy!
