1/2 cup edible flowers

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 piece cinnamon stick

2 pieces ginger

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 litre water

Boil 500ml water along with a cinnamon stick, ginger and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Take it off the heat, stir in the dried hibiscus flowers and let them steep for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Strain into a pitcher (If storing for later, chill this concentrate until ready to make the drink).

Step 3

Add the remaining 500ml water. Alternatively, you can add ice and chilled soda for a bubbly version. Squeeze in a little lime juice and garnish with a slice of lime or orange. Refrigerate depending on how chilled you want the drink to be. Enjoy!
