Midwest Block & Brick - Kansas City, MO - LOCATION MANAGER Midwest Block & Brick is a manufacturer and distributer of concrete block, retaining walls, pavers, brick, stone, and other masonry and landscape products. We operate locations in seven states that sell to trades and the public. Our client base includes architects, engineers, masons, landscape contractors, and homeowners. We are currently seeking a Location Manager to oversee operations at our Kansas City, MO facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operation and management of the location to maximize the full potential of personnel, assets, and inventory. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of facility, including plant, yard, fleet, and office Evaluate daily inventory levels and schedule production accordingly Ensure high product quality and efficiency working directly with the Plant Manager Budget & track spending Capital Improvements and justification Maintain a clean and safe facility Facilitate weekly and monthly safety meetings for all departments Train and motivate employees Work closely with Sales personnel in order to meet objectives and customer requirements Qualifications * College degree required Supervisory/management experience required Experience in a manufacturing environment a strong plus Must be able to build, maintain and lead a teamwork type environment Must be able to monitor and manage adequate inventory controls Must have strong analytical problem-solving skills Must have good communication skills and work well with customers Must have strong computer skills – JD Edwards experience a plus Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks This position offers a complete benefit package, including: Medical Dental Vision Company-paid Life/AD&D Company-paid STD and LTD Vacation Holidays Employment is contingent upon a drug screen and criminal background check. recblid 385xw7wp74grzznfyrjnm8x8ws4rr3... - Permanent - Full-time
