Description The Director of Wealth Management is a highly positive and motivated professional with strong leadership skills. This position will work directly with clients and lead a team of relationship managers and paraplanners in offering comprehensive wealth management and financial planning. Duties of this position will evolve over time depending on firm initiatives and the development of specific skill sets and your interests. Applicants should understand their duties may change on a day-to-day basis as they collaborate with all departments to deliver an exceptional experience to HWM clients. You are the right person if you have management experience, strong problem-solving abilities and are extremely detail oriented with highly developed organizational skills. Effective communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to cultivate effective and collaborative relationships in a dedicated team culture. Key Responsibilities Responsible to drive key initiatives and resolution of key issues within the department that are identified on a daily basis Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) the wealth management team to facilitate an exceptional client experience Development and ownership of client service/retention model Analyze core processes, recommend improvements and work with all departments to streamline stages of the client lifecycle using technology Maintain existing client relationships and cultivate new business from those relationships Ensure talent and performance strategies are in place to coach and develop all team members Develops and maintains written systems of all their activities Writes down 6 Most Important and prioritizes them each day before leaving office Remains current on industry through reading & conference attendance Knowledge, Skills, Abilities CFP® designation Bachelor’s degree or higher 10+ years of experience in wealth management or financial planning A genuine interest in service and caring for other people Able to work independently and as a member of a team, balance multiple responsivities, and demonstrate exceptional time and calendar management Self-starter, takes initiative, and is excited about taking a project from idea to completion Excellent computer skills along with the ability to learn in-house software and tools Superb communication, organizational, and client service skills Strategic thinker with a focus on process improvement Knowledge of EOS is a plus recblid x2f18w1sjfeq3g3utty2ezzfj8px2a... - Permanent - Full-time
