Serum, Bharat Biotech vaccines okayed for emergency use | Economic Times

The CDSCO has approved the recommendations of the subject expert committee for administering the Serum Institute of India's Covishield vaccine and Bharat Biotech's Covaxin for restricted emergency use.The subject expert committee had given conditional nod to both the vaccines and these were awaiting the drug regulator's approval.This paves the way for rolling out of two vaccines in coming days.The regulator also approved the phase 3 trials for Cadila's vaccine.
