Job_Description As a Security Engineer embedded into the Ecommerce Platform, you will: * Be the main driver for Ecommerce platform security efforts * Integrate the Ecommerce Platform with existing security offerings provided across the Square Security organization and introduce new solutions where needed * Collaborate with other security teams and security partners to influence roadmaps and prioritization in the areas such as o Web Security, Application Security o Spam and product abuse o Authentication & Authorization o Cloud- and Network infrastructure * Identify opportunities to enable the whole Seller ecosystem to operate safely You_Have Qualifications * At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience * Experience in design & implementation of complex software solutions * Demonstrated technical initiative, good communication skills and leadership * Broad understanding of security problems and mechanisms to mitigate them paired with up-to-date knowledge on network- and service infrastructure * Strong desire to perform and grow as a security engineer, and mentor other engineers Technologies_Relevant_To_Your_Work_With_Ecommerce * PHP, Java, Golang, Ruby * AWS, Docker, Kubernetes * Bonus for knowledge in SPIFFE/SPIRE & Envoy Additional Information At Square, we value diversity and always treat all employees and job applicants based on merit, qualifications, competence, and talent.
