Participate on project teams to successfully develop and complete project scopes, on time and within project budgets. Manage large data sets as they apply to complex mathematical systems and apply knowledge of data fusion and both algorithm and script development. Establish scalable, automated processes for large scale data extraction, model development, model validation and model implementation. Develop processes to guide strategic capacity planning. Explore different analytical models and methods to augment existing tools to better understand the behavior and health of the network. Additional Responsibilities as needed: Drive the implementation of an ESnet data sharing policy. Engage with researchers to investigate and publish interesting findings (within the data sharing policy). Engage with the R&E networking community to prototype and deploy common analytic solutions. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of data mining and modeling, including analysis of large data sets, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
