Beaufort Jasper Water & Sewer Authority - South Carolina - Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority is searching for: Advanced Metering Infrastructure and Automatic Meter Reading Technical Specialist Under limited supervision, performs a variety of technical and analytical work stemming from the Beacon metering software application to support the Billing department. Responsible for addressing requests, primarily from Billing/Customer Services about Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) reads, alerts, reports, data processes and investigating customer and system concerns. Responsible for developing reports, analyzing data and communicating trends to Billing team and members of management. Receives work from and reports to the Revenue & Billing Supervisor, but works independently when out on the road or analyzing the data. Requirements: High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in metering whether in Customer Service, Metering or Field Operations. Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations. 1 year working with customer-based applications. Valid driver’s license. Willingness to learn data extraction from the Billing / Customer Database. Ability to operate two-way radio, PC, printer, copier. Ability to differentiate colors and shades of color. Starting Salary: $18.89 - $27.39, depending on qualifications, plus great benefits package to include S.C.
