VP Clinical Operations

Cpl Life Sciences - Medics - California - Vice President/Senior Vice President, Head of Global Clinical Operations Location: California / Remote Salary: Executive level basic salary Benefits: Bonus, Stock Options, 401K & more Cpl Physicians are partnered with a global biotechnology company specialized in targeted cell therapies for precision medicine in Oncology. This organisation has a growing presence in the US and are currently seeking a Vice President / Senior Vice President Clinical Operations to be a key leader with responsibility for executive oversight and overall management of all clinical study programmes. As a part of the executive development board, you will lead cross functional teams while also coordinating study planning, financial oversight, vendor management and strategic guidance. This organizations studies have been shown to induce rapid and selective cell killing and tumour necrosis with several exciting early and late phase projects on going. Responsibilities will include: Provide oversight of current and future global clinical programmes Direct line management of a cross-functional team, providing strategy to build the clinical department moving forward Executive member of the product development team responsible for overall strategy and clinical trial conduct Management of global CROs while also identifying and selecting new vendors Plan headcount and hiring needs for the year ahead identifying areas to develop and build Operational and clinical expertise for various Oncology clinical trials Development of early and late phase products from Phase 1 to NDA approval Requirements: Degree in life sciences or a related field At least 18 years experience in Clinical Operations in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry Ideally 3-5 years in a similar level role (VP/Head of Operations) Experience managing CROs and vendors Global clinical trial management across all phases of development preferred Prior experience in successfully leading cross-functional teams Excellent knowledge of FDA, EMA, PDMA regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Remuneration: The successful candidate will receive an executive level basic salary with a benefits package to include the likes of a bonus scheme, stock options, 401k, medical, dental, vision plans, flexible PTO and more Contact/How to learn more: To find out more information or apply, contact Jacob Burrows via email Jacob.burrows@cpl.com CPL Physicians is a specialist US based retained search and contingent staffing firm focusing exclusively on the recruitment of pharmaceutical physicians for pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, Clinical Research Organisations (CROs) and Regulatory Authorities.
