Sr. Mobile Engineer - iOS

Scale a growing portfolio of widely used mobile apps by leveraging reusable modules and libraries to disrupt mobile and wearable consumer experiences. Location: United States ***Please note in light of COVID-19, all of our employees globally are telecommuting until further notice.*** Reports to: Director, Mobile Engineering Travel Requirement: Up to 5% Responsibilities Include: Design, build, and maintain engaging native iOS applications for consumers Drive technical design and research for prototyping new concepts and capabilities that leverage the latest iOS features Collaborate with teams across the company to clarify designs and requirements Deliver feature enhancements and continuous improvements to our existing suite of successful mobile apps Refactor mobile apps to optimize performance while creating and/or leveraging reusable modules Active participation in an Agile development process Desired Skills & Experience: 4+ years of iOS experience Proficiency in English (Spoken and Written) Experience developing, publishing, and maintaining native iOS applications Experience building component libraries for teams and third-party developers to integrate into their existing mobile applications Strong knowledge of Swift, Xcode, and UIKit Solid understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Location Solid understanding of Swift Package Manager, Carthage, and Cocoapods Experience with RESTful and JSON APIs to communicate with enterprise services Understanding of proven design patterns and architectures Ability to analyze and optimize code for performance, memory usage, CPU utilization, and battery life Passion for product quality and attention to details Excellent written and oral communication skills Bonus Points: e-Commerce experience Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ruby Experience with Functional programming (eg. Combine, ReactiveSwift) Basic knowledge of Kotlin and/or Kotlin Native Experience with Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config Experience with Bitrise, Fastlane, or comparable CI/CD toolsets Please include any GitHub account, App Store apps, LinkedIn profile, and any project you're particularly proud of.
