This role can be based remotely within the US. In this role, you will help execute the strategic direction of the University Relations program. This role will be responsible for developing strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, students, and universities in the execution of the University Relations campus recruiting programs. The Recruiter (University Relations Specialist) will administer all elements of the campus recruiting lifecycle, including but not limited to; client engagement sessions, school event planning, on-campus recruiting, candidate screening, interviews, offer generation, background checks, and onboarding. Other key specific responsibilities include: Responsibility for managing campus recruiting programs. Building relationships with key stakeholders at target universities to market the airline brand and develop a pipeline of students for potential future recruitment. Organizing space at schools to host, attend, and present information sessions, activities, and career fairs Ensuring consistent and equitable administration of processes and programs across all business units; servicing as a dedicated resource to hiring managers, targeted schools, and candidates. Developing strong reputation as subject matter expert in the areas of university relations and college recruitment and communicate regularly with business leads and universities to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and support, which includes extensive travel during the college recruiting season. Sourcing, selection and development of 150+ intern and full-time hires driven by hiring targets and goals set by the business. Planning virtual events to attract a wide range of students at several target universities. Proactively communicating with candidates to ensure the airline is top of mind and providing the right kind of opportunities for their future goals and aspirations. Creating high level of interest in the program so can develop and engage students more effectively. Engaging students early in their lives to build an interest and level of excitement for a future career at a premium airline through the build-out of an excellent Early Career Programs model for junior-high, high school, young adults, interns, and new graduates. Educating and collaborating with hiring managers to promote and drive the airline’s University Relations program. Working with hiring leaders to plan a series of engagement activities at top tier target universities to enhance branding and focus attention on highly sought after students. This includes planning, hosting, and attending on-campus events such as information sessions, activities, and career fairs. Partnering closely with assigned business unit leaders and HR functional partners to develop a strong flow of communication and clear expectations surrounding the recruiting process and understanding the strategies and priories of the business units Extensive travel required during the college recruiting season. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of work experience in recruitment with an emphasis in corporate-run University Relations programs. Demonstrated experience as a key contributor on a small, high-impact team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of apps. Understanding of compliance and regulatory environment as it relates to sourcing, selection, and hiring; including EEO, OFCCP, and Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures is strongly preferred. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate or advanced degree in business or related field. Experience in providing direction to junior team members. Prior experience in a global consumer product or service industry.
