The realignment to its revised mandate took some time to be sorted owing to the drying up of liquidity in the broader market around this time. The portfolio size has also witnessed a cut to a more reasonable 60 stocks. This has allowed the fund to take larger positions in its top bets, compared to earlier diluted stance. The fund boasts a healthy long-term track record of outperformance. It has seen a change at the helm recently. While recent performance has been strong, the execution of revised strategy under new fund manager needs to be assessed over longer time period.
