Lincoln Memorial University - Harrogate, TN - Position Details Position Title Director of Financial Aid Department FINANCIAL AID Position Category Staff Full Time Job Description The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for the administration, compliance and innovation of the Universitys financial assistance programs, including grants, scholarships, loans, and federal work-study. Required Qualifications *bachelors degree; and *minimum of five years related experience in administration of financial aid. Preferred: *advanced degree. Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Campus Harrogate Job Duty Job Duty promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large; Job Duty promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students; Job Duty participate on University committees; Job Duty oversee financial aid counselor and administrative assistant staff, financial aid applications and prepare financial aid awards; Job Duty coordinate the transmission of financial aid award information to the Finance Office for student billing purposes; Job Duty counsel students and parents about the aid application process and availability of financial aid; Job Duty remain current and knowledgeable concerning NCAA and conference policies; Job Duty participate in professional development programs to improve skills and enhance the effective management of financial aid programs; Job Duty assist in completion of required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; and Job Duty perform other duties as assigned.
