Who You Are: As Product Manager, you will lead the development and release of the next generation of KCF products and help us to usher in a new era of safe and efficient American manufacturing. This position will be a cross-functional leader within KCF, working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering & prioritizing market requirements, driving the product vision, defining product requirements, establishing detailed product roadmaps, and collaborating on the key marketing & sales strategies necessary to achieve market adoption. We are seeking a strategic self-starter who is passionate about American manufacturing, who can think big, knows how to execute on vision, and who thrives in ambiguity. Essential Functions: Becomes the internal and external product expert on the current & next-generation KCF product line, and understands its potential impact on the market as a whole. Sets the pace and defines the strategy and marketing angle for development of KCF product lines, while anticipating and addressing roadblocks or concerns. Cooperates with KCF Sales and captures market requirements from customer interviews/visits, usability studies/research, market research/analysis, etc. Cooperates with KCF Engineering and translates market requirements into product requirements for technical development. Bridges Marketing, Technology and Financial analysis into formative customer product and service strategies. Collaborates heavily with customers and future prospects to understand and forecast product needs. Brief executives on various initiatives, including status updates, timelines, and analyses, making appropriate recommendations. Analyzes market conditions and relevant competitors to determine appropriate timeline for product planning, product development, and launch of product. Positions and messages the product line so that it appeals to appropriate consumers, channels, and industries. Prepares launch events to coincide with consumers' buying patterns. Forecasts and analyzes product or product-line performance in multiple industries by defining success metrics, and collaborates with Executive Leadership to ensure business goals are met. Practices discretion when discussing the production roll-out and maintain confidentiality. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 5+ years' product development experience in a supervisory capacity Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Marketing required Excellent networking skills, especially regarding distribution channels and social media Previous experience in a Manufacturing field Knowledge of IIOT Market/ Industry 4.0 Cross-functional team leadership experience Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage deliverables Expert motivational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel 50-70% of the time Benefits We know it takes competitive benefits and development opportunities to fuel a team that exhibits our values of Smarts, Grit, and Drive.
