Corporate and Regulatory Counsel

Fort Wayne, IN - The Corporate & Regulatory Counsel may: Consult on the legal issues and implications of potential business decisions and initiatives, providing counsel on general business and legal issues. Possess strong drafting skills, create contracts, product forms, and other documents as appropriate to support business divisions and to address corporate policy/compliance issues. Work with a cross functional team to facilitate proactive and compliant performance of all company objectives. Provide legal advice, strategies, and solutions to all business functional areas, including Market Management, Marketing, Underwriting, Actuarial, Operations/IT, Finance, PS&RS, Claims, and Human Resources. The Corporate & Regulatory Counsel will have: JD degree from an ABA approved law school and licensed at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 3-6 years experience preferred. Experience in reinsurance and/or health insurance preferred. Ability to handle many, varied legal issues at the same time in a fast-pace environment. Ability to effectively prioritize assignments in a high-urgency setting.
