Our Impact: Our team is responsible for helping third party mortgage technology software partners and our mutual customers integrate with Freddie Mac’s loan origination, loan delivery, and loan servicing systems. The Technical Integration Senior will manage required Uniform Mortgage Data Program (UMDP), or proprietary XML and JSON file verification testing of these external mortgage technology interfaces to one or more Freddie Mac systems, and provide troubleshooting assistance to software partners and customers to help resolve issues as part of a larger team. Your Impact: Act as the primary internal point of contact on the Software Partner Integration team for one or more current or future UMDP or proprietary file formats and its associated Freddie Mac products and systems. Lead and define UMDP or proprietary XML and JSON file and API integration verification testing engagements with external customers and software developers that build related interfaces and integrations to our various Freddie Mac products and systems. Attend related project meetings to represent the integrated software partner perspective and to provide input into the expected impact of improvements and changes to various file formats and systems. Collaborate with the Customer relationship teams to prioritize software partner and customer UMDP, or proprietary XML and JSON file and API integration verification testing and associated implementation timelines. Provide feedback on changes to and help maintain Freddie Mac system integration specifications, data standards, forms, design documents, and test case scenarios as required. Support other emerging origination, delivery, and servicing related file formats and systems as required. Qualifications: 5+ years of related primary mortgage market, secondary mortgage market, or mortgage technology software partner experience. Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of MISMO, XML, JSON, and one or more mortgage industry data standards including UMDP programs (e.g. ULAD, UAD, ULDD, and/or UCD). Experience using an XML editor program (e.g. XMLSpy, Notepad++, etc.) and file comparison tools (e.g. Beyond Compare, Diff Doc, etc.). Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services and general API development tools (e.g. Apigee, Postman, SoapUI, etc.) Keys to Success in this Role: Ability to multitask and work effectively to meet frequent deadlines. Strong analytical skills and a customer service focus. Comfortable conversing with a broad range of external customers, software developers, and internal business areas to support file format problem resolution and API integration testing. Understand how data flows into Freddie Mac systems throughout the life of a mortgage loan: Loan Product Advisor (LPA), Loan Quality Advisor (LQA), Loan Closing Advisor (LCLA), Loan Selling Advisor (LSA), Correspondent Assignment Center (CAC), Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP), Servicing Gateway, and Workout Prospector.
