RBW Consulting - USA - Director/Senior Director, Business Development – Biologics CDMO - USA My client is a global industry leading CDMO who specialise in a number of different services with great technical capabilities and new technologies. I am currently partnering with them exclusively to expand their Biologics Business Development team. They are seeking a Director/Senior Director, Business Development to identify and build to new customer relationships in order to generate new business in the located territory. The role reports directly into the Head of Sales and the ideal candidate would preferably be based on East Coast/Mid Atlantic area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Generate new business through high level of customer contact including frequent visits and networking. Execute Sales and Marketing Strategy within the set territory to maximize market penetration across each of the defined service offerings. Promote current technical capabilities and new technologies Maintain technical/market knowledge in order to engage in meaningful conversations with customers. Identify trends in the market, market potential and develop strategies in order to grow market share using customer base and market data. Education/Experience: Relevant academic degree (Master or PhD – preferred area – Biology, Biochemistry or related engineering) Significant commercial experience in the CMO/CDMO environment with biologics/large molecules focus. Proven track record delivering year on year targets for high value deals Proven ability to write business documents Proven negotiation skills Proven presentation skills... - Permanent - Full-time
