Logistics Analyst MID US-VA-Quantico Job ID: 2021-1101 Type: Regular Full-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: Professional Quantico, Virginia Overview Scope: The scope of this task is to deliver a program management system of logistics support to the Air Command and Control and Sensor netting (AC2SN) Program Management Office (PMO). AC2SN is comprised of two distinct Products: Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) which consists of Phase 1, Phase 2 (also known as Increment I) and Future Development, and the Air Battle Management and Sensor Netting (ABM&SN) which consists of the Composite Tracking Network (CTN), Marine Air Command and Control Systems (MACCS) Sustainment Family of Systems (FoS), Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS), and Command and Control Air Operations Suite (C2AOS) programs and Future Product Integration and Systems Interoperability. Responsibilities Functional Duties/Responsibilities: Foster and maintain positive business relationships with customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to the logistics and training activities. Prepare and/or review acquisition logistics support documentation and source data such as integrated logistics implementation plans. Analyze needs and develop user requirements across the entire spectrum of logistics functions; take actions to ensure that needs are met. Implement acquisition logistics plans, databases, and support files to support fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications. Apply logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions. Report project plans, progress, and results; review logistics performance with client against targets, benchmarks, and service agreements. Remain current on advances in logistics technology and incorporate new technologies into procedures. Conduct needs assessments/instructional analysis to ensure conformity with training objectiveness and develops training plans as needed. Prepare plans for training project completion and coordinates related instructional document preparation from support staff. Prepare training status reports, exhibits, and correspondence as needed. Compile analysis data concerning training effectiveness and track results; recommend improvements/modification to training curricula based on results. Monitor training progress and customer satisfaction; provide periodic status reports. Remain current on developments in training and instructional methodologies including technology enhancements; incorporate new technologies into procedures. Participate in special projects as required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; Associates degree and 7 years of relevant experience; High School Diploma and 10 years of relevant experience Required Certifications: DAWIA Logistics II/III or civilian equivalent certification, or relevant military experience in Logistics Physical Demands and work environment: Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; visual ability; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
