Offering a $1000 sign-on bonus for anyone hired for a full-time role between 4/26/21 through 7/1/21. ($500 paid at 3 months and $500 paid at 6 months.) Starting wages for night shift roles range from $15.97 - $19.36 per hour. If currently employed with similar experience, could qualify for higher rate of pay. PLANT POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Autocaser Cup Line Shift: A Shift 11p-7a 1 Opening(s) Division: Stephenville Full Time: Yes Department/Location: Cream Cheese Packaging Title of Immediate Leader: Cream Cheese TL/ TA Base Rate: 05C Reviewed by: HR Team Leader Position Purpose: Responsible for the setup and operation of the Cup Line Auto Caser. Operates equipment and inspects packaged cup line product during case packaging operations. Facilitate quick changeovers by cleaning, emptying trays and tubs, and assisting where needed. Other duties may be assigned. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Essential Functions: Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements. Must be able to identify and understand customer requirements. Load packaging material into the packaging system, either automatic or manual by-pass. Input and change case packaging codes per production order instructions. Loads tape and/or glue into box closing systems. Assist in color, size and style changes, remove product, empty trays and tubs and assist in cleanup of equipment. Maintain Process Control Points, record data accordingly. Responsible for performing basic quality assurance functions. Must be able to read production orders, while remaining flexible to change to meet customer needs. Operate and maintain case conveying equipment. Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting the product and area exiting the filler, safe-line, weight checker, clearing jams, and sorting as necessary. Assist the filler operator and packaging operators as needed. May relieve packaging line operator during break periods Assist in color, size and style changes, remove product, empty trays and tubs, and assist in cleaning equipment. Monitor and document material and product waste. Keep area clean and debris out of work area. NOTE: If you change shift, and/or department you must reschedule your vacation accordingly. Educational/Experience/Skills Required: (Minimum Level) EDUCATION: X High School Diploma/G.E.D. Associate Degree Technical School Certificate/License College Bachelors Degree Masters Degree EXPERIENCE: Type: Production Number of Years: N/A (Seniority Based) Other: Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the essential and non-essential tasks related to the job. Successful Partners must follow and maintain PCPs and Safety Procedures. Must maintain attendance below 3%. Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds. All Auto Case Packer Operator bid holders must become cross functional with all positions on the line.
