Sterile Processing Technician

Premier Health Associates - Sparta, NJ - Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgical Center, located in Northern NJ (Sussex County) is seeking an experienced and dedicated part time Sterile Processing Technician. Qualified individual must have no less than two years’ experience in a multispecialty ASC environment with working knowledge and proficiency in the use of Steris and Olympus equipment. Certification is a mandatory requirement; availability on Wednesdays and Saturdays is a must. Responsibilities include: Cleaning and disinfecting of instruments, endoscopes and equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Performing safety checks to verify proper equipment functionality, as well as general maintenance of equipment. General maintenance of legible and accurate records, as well as a safe and clean work environment. Candidates must possess a strong knowledge base of AAMI standards.
