A&P Mechanic

Southern Maine Aviation - Sanford, ME - We are looking for a new or experienced General Aviation Mechanic. Must have own tools. Occasional over-time and some weekends. Robinson helicopter and Light Sport with Rotax experience is a plus! Responsible to maintain A&P certificate IAW FAA regulations and manufactures procedures. Job includes: servicing, maintaining, repairing, operational testing airframe and engine systems. 50hr and 100hr inspections and routine maintenance on flight school aircraft. Physical ability to stand long periods of time, kneeling, bending and lifting on a daily basis. Must pass DOT pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and random DOT screenings. Background check required. Company benefits include cost share medical, dental and eye care, paid holidays and vacation time. $1000.00 sign on bonus to be paid after 90 days of employment.
