Prysmian Group - Abbeville, SC - Job Description: Plant Service Operators unload incoming trucks delivering raw material and other materials for each department. Load and weigh scrap for delivery to scrap dealer. Communicate with scrap coordinator all necessary paper work for timely scrap billing. Handle non-hazardous and hazardous material and waste. Inventory responsibilities as subscribed by department Brief Summary of Primary Duties: Regular and predictable attendance throughout the shift is an essential function of this position Ability to comprehend QUA 1000 Weigh and record all incoming raw materials Responsible for visual inspection and identification of all incoming raw materials,packages and goods receipt for all departments Enter receipts daily into SAP and turn into accounts payable before month end Responsible for Silane tote inventory during month Responsible for designated area on inventory day Weigh scrap reels, boxes, and provide paper work for scrap billing Expectations: Abide by all rules and procedures Make safety first prioity Report all safety incidents or issues immediately Apply box material labels in audit procedure compliance Maintain clean work area Any/All tasks assigned by supervisor Specific Skills/Training Required Understand the concept of how to load a truck and keep the truck weight balanced Ability to coordinate with scrap coordinator for paperwork and bill of landing Fork lift Training Ability to weigh and record weights on reels, boxes, and other materials Ability to input necessary data into computer Ability to perform mathematical calculations Prysmian Group, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills and abilities, who will enhance the quality of service and contribute to the Group’s success.
