Physician - Neonatology - Seeking Three Academic Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Physicians for SE Michigan

Ascension - Michigan - Hospital-based Neonatology practice is seeking� to add a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine physician� due to growth. The NICU is a level III-B by the AAP classification.� Annual admissions of 400-500 infants with ~10% transfers.� Very low birth weight infants account for ~25% of admissions.� Average inpatient census is 30 with a range of 22-45.� Provide all types of surgeries including PDA ligation but excluding CHD and ECMO.� In addition to the neonatologists, the NICU is staffed by pediatric residents and neonatal nurse practitioners. �� � � Full time position �� � � MD/DO �� � � Provide level II service at affiliated hospitals. �� � � Clinical duties, week days and weekends on-call, monthly assignments to different acuity services are shared throughout the year.
