TMP Worldwide - New York City, NY - Graphic Designers are responsible for delivering visual solutions under the leadership of an Art Director or ACD/CD by employing a strong aesthetic sensibility to build authentic employer brands for our clients. Graphic Designers also help in the conceptualization and execution of robust campaigns, websites and collateral pieces. Responsibilities What does a great Graphic Designer do? Develop visual designs for all advertising and branding needs including (but not limited to): traditional campaigns, collateral, websites, email marketing, digital advertising, social media, mobile marketing, gaming and presentations Collaborate with creative team members throughout all aspects and phases of a project, from initial brainstorming through to final production with a focus on working alongside Art Directors and ACDs/CDs to develop cutting-edge visual solutions to client challenges Participate in client problem solving sessions alongside project managers, digital strategists, producers and account service team members Bring fresh ideas and solutions to the table that inspire every level of our media strategies Continually stay abreast of best practices, trends and new innovations in design and content generation and development * Work closely with Production Managers & Project Managers to ensure all specifications for projects are met Present work internally to creative leads and account teams as needed Contribute to new business pitches, client intake sessions and presentations as needed Qualifications Requirements for Consideration B.A. degree from four-year college or university (preferably in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Advertising or a related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience 2 – 4 years of graphic design experience incorporating both print and digital projects (some agency experience preferred but not essential) Strong visual sense with ability to execute to vision in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress and Keynote/PowerPoint on the Mac platform Solid Understanding of web design principles including responsive/adaptive design, user experience & accessibility as well as traditional prepress and production Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript or other programming skills are an asset but not required as are any additional experiences with video editing, animation or rendering packages Solid traditional and digital productions skills.
