The primary responsibility of the Cherry Picker/Material Handler position is to operate a cherry picker in a safe manner, perform outbound functions such as but not limited to: replenishment, pick and fulfill customer orders, perform receiving functions, unloading trailers and containers, put pallets away into stock, placing material on pallets and organizing pallets in the warehouse in a safe and effective manner. Responsibilities Safely and proficiently use Cherry Picker Proficiently use RF Handheld or equipment mount computer and scanner Responsible for utilizing RF guns and or pc terminals to update product inventory by location, adjusting into or out of inventory and adjusting available quantities of product. Unload containers and trucks as necessary Ability to lift at least 40 pounds Load trailers and Containers for outbound shipment Responsible for accurately counting and verifying all freight handled Responsible to ensure pallet placement is performed safely Responsible for the proper building of pallets to be put away Responsible for operating equipment with Situational Awareness ensuring Safety is at the forefront of all work that is performed Perform put away and replenishments tasks accurately Gather and report damages to company property immediately to a member of management Follow directions daily as they are provided to you by the leadership team Ensure all pallets are properly secured, wrapped and marked Benefits of Working with Bluecrew (W2 status!)
