Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in steel, wood, concrete, and masonry design Experience in field site assessments, structural design and analysis and knowledge of construction practices and principles very desirable Experience and high level of competency with AutoCAD drafting software and structural design software packages Structural/Architectural drafting and detailing experience a definite plus College degree in a related field desirable Engineering license not required Responsibilities: Preparing reports, designs and drawings Making calculations about loads and stresses Selecting appropriate construction materials Providing technical advice Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval Liaising with relevant professional staff Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors Managing projects Compensation based on experience: $65K - $95K Benefits: Medical Benefits Simple IRA offer of participation Paid Time Off Paid Holidays We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
