We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Fabrication Center. As a Production Supervisor your main task is to ensure the efficient and timely production of our products through monitoring the supervision of the activities of the production team (Operators), along with tracking different targets set in the area in order to achieve daily productivity standards in a safe manner, while maintaining the required quality standards. This role reports directly and supports the Production Manager, on daily tasks. Team Management: * Supervise and lead the operators of the assigned shift. * Meet daily scheduled productivity goals, measured in square feet of finished product per employee. * Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed. * Work with the People Department to manage the hiring process, onboarding and disciplinary processes of the employees managed. * Review, approve and ensure accuracy of the timecards submitted by the production team. * Maintain a clean and safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures. Business Administration: * Collaborate with the Production Manager in order to assist shop maintenance and cleaning on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. * Responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient consumables usage and ensuring order submissions are processed on a timely manner. * Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) What are we looking for? EXPERIENCE Required: * 2+ years of experience in stone/solid surface manufacturing or similar industry (metallurgy, machining, wood) * 1+ years of experience supervising or leading a manufacturing team EDUCATION Required: * High School Diploma/GED Desired: * Bachelor's degree in Business or related field KNOWLEDGE Required: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Desired: * ERP SAP * CAD design SKILLS Required: * Be decisive and proactive in solving daily problems. * Leadership skills * Capacity of Planification * Strong organization and relationship management skills * Machinery operation * Ability to lift and carry up to 40ibs.
