The Pennsylvania studio will serve clients operating within the state and hold both generic and dedicated tables, primarily focusing on games like Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette. Job Description Evolution Gaming is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our expanding team to support the Philadelphia studio. The basic responsibilities and expectations for the position are as follows: Accurately calculate, process and balance the bi-weekly payroll earnings and adjustments using Payroll reports from operations departments. Create and maintain Excel worksheets to calculate payroll and prepare payroll upload sheets. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports Reconciliation of payroll entries to the sub-ledgers. Partner and lead process improvement initiatives to ensure efficiency is an ongoing focus for the payroll function. Process and balance payroll expenses, deductions and adjustments Create and maintain accurate payroll workpapers, records, and mail correspondences for immediate access (as required). Work with internal and external departments, groups, clients, employees, etc. in the resolution of payroll issues and inquiries. Provides information and payroll-related data and reports required Works closely with Human Resources to coordinate the receipt of information, clarify changes, provide further details, reconcile discrepancies, etc. Responsible for preparation of quarterly/annual government filings. Conduct payroll information session for the new hires. Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits. Responsible for year-end reconciliations Qualifications Entry-level position - approximately 2 years' experience preferred Bachelor's degree or higher professional accounting education; Good knowledge of English; Advanced level of computer skills; Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Accounts Payable experience a plus; ADP experience preferred; Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2018 a plus; High sense of responsibility and self-motivation; The ability to accurately fulfill the direct management orders and work tasks; The ability to work in a team.
