Northern Trust - Bangalore, Karnataka - Major Duties 1. Assists and counsels the transferee with the relocation process based on eligibility of relocation benefits or assistance such as sale of existing real estate, rental or purchase of new residence, shipment of household goods,and other activities to facilitate the relocation. 2. Processes cost estimates, relocation expenses, equity advances, lump sum allowances and per diems. 3. Notifies third party for relocation requests and prepares necessary reports. 4. Works with managers in determining if foreign national is eligible for a visa/work permit and assists foreign national(s) in obtaining appropriate visa when necessary. 5. May work with immigration attorney on various issues including prevailing wage, work visas/permits and processing various documentations. 6. Prepares and submits relocation transmission reports to Payroll. 7. Works towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job. 8. Runs and creates formal or ad hoc reports. 9.
