CenClear - Philipsburg, PA - MH Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor Primary Location: Philipsburg, PA General Description of Duties To provide supportive nursing services to the Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Division that will improve the quality of care offered to consumers by promoting the integration of mental health and physical health to assist consumers in improving overall wellness. Qualifications An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 7-10 years of direct nursing experience; 3-5 years outpatient/office setting nursing experience required; 3-5 years nursing management experience Preference of psychiatric nursing experience Specific Description of Duties Collaboration and Coordination In collaboration with the Medical Director, maintain the rules and regulations of CRCSI, local, state and federal agencies including OSHA guidelines for workplace safety In collaboration with the Medical Director and Senior Leadership, develop and implement patient scheduling models and participate in improvements in the medical clinic Client Care Maintain professional demeanor with parents Maintain confidentiality, clients’ right to privacy, and demonstrates respect for clients Initially explains psychiatric services and what to expect Answers client questions and conveys concerns to physician Responds to phone calls from parents between appointments Training and Program Development In collaboration with the Medical Director, maintain the rules and regulations of CRCSI, local, state and federal agencies including OSHA guidelines for workplace safety In collaboration with the Medical Director and Senior Leadership, develop and implement patient scheduling models and participate in improvements in the medical clinic Physical Requirements Ability to reach overhead. Lift and carry objects over thirty (30) pounds. Bend to reach objects from the floor. Stand for extended period of time with reasonable breaks. Operate office machines.
