Atascosa Health Center, Inc. - Pleasanton, TX - The Director of Clinical Operations (DCO) has significant responsibilities in planning, directing, and evaluating all medical activities within the organization. The DCO works with the goal of boosting economical and efficient performance of the medical team while delivering high-quality patient services. On a typical work day, the director of clinical operations may be involved in tracking staff resource utilization, hiring new staff, creating budget plans, drafting contingency plans, conducting quality assurance testing, managing patient billing, and arranging work schedules. The DCO must attend meetings regularly with physicians, department heads, and other administrators. Qualifications: RN - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or LVN - Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in healthcare service management; with a minimum of 4years’ experience in a primary health care.
