CITY OF NEVADA IOWA POLICE DEPARTMENT - Manhattan, KS - POLICE OFFICER The Nevada Public Safety Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer. Job description is posted on the city web site. Preference to candidates with EMT-B, Fire Fighter I and ILEA certification. Candidates without EMT-B or Fire Fighter I must agree to training in this area. Starting wage is $23.16/hr. Testing is open to all interested in becoming a Police Officer for the City of Nevada. If you successfully pass the physical agility testing you will be given information to complete an application, resume and cover letter.
