Apprentice Service Technician

We train and certify Shop Technicians in-house to become WA State Certified Home Appliance Technicians. Entry level Shop Technicians work closely with our trained and licensed Service Technician team who does on-site diagnostics and repairs on appliances inside customer's homes. This well-paying, skilled trade is in high-demand within the industry. Job responsibilities include (but not limited to): Identifying issues/problems with appliances, repairing appliances, appliance cleaning and maintenance, quality checks, and damage reports. The typical day as a Shop Technician will include working in the shop at our Bellingham, Hannegan Warehouse, working closely with the parts/service department to complete repairs and customization on appliances. Often this includes: refrigerator door reversals, gas/propane conversions, diagnosing and repairing broken laundry machines, wall ovens, ranges, and all other major household appliances. REQUIREMENTS You must be mechanically inclined, technologically savvy and have a basic understanding of electronic components. Our company will train you in our fully functioning shop on old and new appliances, enhancing technical skills, and preparing you for workplace scenarios. Must be able to pass a drug test upon hire.
