Summary: Trains and tests staff on imaging skills competencies. Monitors staff and works with supervisor in providing mentorship for skills imaging. Produces publication quality images. Maintains advanced ophthalmic photography skills. Job Duties: Under the direct supervision of the eye care provider, assists with performing patient care. Under the direction and supervision of an eye care provider: Performs diagnostic testing. Administers intravenous agents in preparation for retinal angiography. Performs clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area. Provides education to students, residents and staff; assists in orienting and mentoring staff. Provides documentation, patient education and enters charges. Manages patient care and assists with patient flow. Assists in orienting and mentoring staff. Teaches a minimum of 1 course per year to UCHealth Eye Center staff. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA BLS IV certification within 6 months of hire 5 years' related experience Publication of images in major ophthalmic journals Preferred: Bachelor's degree in relevant filed Relevant vocational training Preferred: 10 years of related experience This position's pay range starts at: $27.61/hour.
