Software Reliability Engineer

Indianapolis, IN - Description A client of ours in Carmel, IN, is currently seeking to fill an immediate need for a full time Software Reliability Engineer on their Performance and Monitoring Development Team. The Software Reliability Engineer will develop enhancements and features to support the overall health and performance of their system, and put metrics and tools in place to ensure issues do not persist. The Software Reliability Engineer will work remotely now, but need to live locally for when the office reopens which they will still work remotely 2 daysweek. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. What you do as the Software Reliability Engineer - Develop 50 of the time new featuresenhancements to support the health and performance of the company's product - Define and develop metrics, monitoring, and alerting for operational parts of our system - infrastructurehardware, database, application layer, errorinformational logs, ect. - Identify and fix performance, scalability, and stability issues in the system at all layers of the stack - Collaborate with leadership and architects to plan and document improvements - Monitor metrics and logs to identify and fixplan issue resolution - Observe production issues, fix, and coordinate with SME's to address issues Requirements What you bring to the role - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field is highly preferred - Senior level expertise in AWS, C .NET, Web APIs, SQL Server, JavaScript, and Angular - Prior experience managing and scaling complex applications - Data driven approach to problem solving and communications - Ability to balance urgency with sound decision making and careful execution For more information about this role please contact Lisa Maloney at or send resumes directly to Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
