ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Framing Accurately measure, cut, and shape lumber, wood, and other building materials Examine building materials to identify any defects Set and/or frame floor and roof trusses Install exterior siding, soffit, & fascia Layout walls & build stairs Perform carpentry duties, including both rough and finish carpentry Erect temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists Analyze blueprints & drawings to determine structural dimensions of framework to be constructed Stay current on safety standards and procedures, communicate to team, & ensure compliance Finish Work Set door frames, doors, and hardware Install windows & patio doors Install interior millwork Installation of cabinetry Install appliances and other equipment Install mirrors, shower bars, decor, and other finishing touches General Operate and care for construction equipment and machines Assist equipment operator, and other skilled labor when necessary Ensure team has secured job site, tools, and materials at end of each day #zr Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience Preferred 2+ year carpentry experience Skilled at reading and interpreting architectural plans, specifications, & construction documents Proficient in using tools such as saws, sanders, drills, planers, etc. Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed Comfortable with ladders & heights Other Requirements Must pass criminal background check Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with proper insurance Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English Benefits Health Care Plan (ICHRA) Retirement Plan (Simple IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation & Holidays) Short Term Disability Training & Development Career Advancement Opportunities... - Permanent - Full-time
