Accesso - Lake Mary, FL - Position Overview: We seek a highly motivated, self-starting and experienced e-commerce Payment Protection Analyst. This position will be an important part of our Payment Services Team responsible for delivering world class payment support to our clients by conducting business in a more efficient way, leveraging new technologies, minimizing risks, and enabling the increase of sales. The Payment Protection Analyst will be responsible for evaluating a variety of data sets while working with our development teams to identify opportunities to optimize the payment process and assist in managing system rules within our e-commerce platform to effectively and proactively manage our highly successful fraud prevention tools. We are looking for a flexible, fast-learning, energetic and motivated individual to help deliver quality monitoring and comprehensive rules to positively impact our client portfolio. An ideal candidate will have knowledge of the financial services industry. Location: Lake Mary, Florida, USA Reports To: Payment Protection Manager Travel: Up to 10% Responsibilities Include: Assist the Payment Protection Manager with designing and deploying comprehensive fraud prevention strategies, policies and to identify fraud control improvements. Proactively monitor and review transaction data for suspicions activity and possible fraud. Utilize technical computer applications as well as spreadsheets to review, detect and flag financial transactions that violate established risk rules. Coordinate the blocking of suspicious financial transactions for further review and analysis. Develop fraud transaction screening rules and methodologies. Work closely with Payment Protection Manager and subject matter experts to evaluate and identify emerging technologies/fraud trends and adapt new approaches and features as needed. Assist in the investigation and resolution of irregular transactions reported. Monitor performance of rules to assess effectiveness of rules and adjust as appropriate. Qualifications: College degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Information Security, Management Information Systems or Risk Management, or demonstrated subject matter experience. Experience in fraud prevention/management in an online consumer-facing high-transaction environment. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel. Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented with demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to recognize non-obvious customer behavior/activity patterns. Ability to work and interpret large amounts of data. Professional level verbal/written communication skills.
