Broadlawns Medical Center - Des Moines, IA - Job Description Under the supervision of the Acute Care Operations Administrator, the Nursing Director provides supervision and leadership to staff in assigned nursing units. The position plans, directs and coordinates operational and personnel activities to ensure provision of high quality patient care. The role includes collaboration and communication, utilizing participative decision-making when appropriate. Position is responsible for promoting ongoing development of staff and maintaining a professional environment. This position is additionally responsible for ongoing compliance with AAMI standards in the processing of instruments and equipment.
