Clovis Community College - Clovis, NM - Position Details Position Information Job Title Instructor in Mathematics Job Summary The instructor is a faculty member providing instruction leading to an Associate Degree. THIS IS A 9 MONTH FACULTY CONTRACT. COMPENSATION IS ISSUED OVER A 12 MONTH PERIOD. (Summer classes are paid on a per credit hour basis and not part of the 9-month contract.) PM16 Essential Functions Prepare and teach 1000 and 2000 level courses in Mathematics, (including Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Statistics, and Survey of Mathematics) and Transitional Studies ( including Basic Algebra I and II). Teach 15 credit hours each Fall and Spring semester. May include day, evening, online, and interactive television courses. Teaching assignment may include courses provided for high school students under the provisions of the dual credit policy of the state of New Mexico.
