Wakulla County BOCC - Crawfordville, FL - Wakulla County Firefighter/EMT The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners has an immediate need for qualified applicants for a full-time Firefighter/ EMT within the County’s Public Safety Division. This position will report directly to a Captain to provide patient care work in rendering basic pre-hospital life support functions, other emergency care, and rescue services. Duties include the operation and maintenance of ambulances and fire rescue apparatus, basic life support functions, and fire suppression and rescue activities. Applicants must meet the following qualifications: High School diploma or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma Certification of training in pre-hospital medical care and fire suppression. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License. Must possess a valid Commercial Florida Driver’s License.
