Algorythma - Bangalore, Karnataka - Job Description for Android Platform Engineer - Bangalore Basic Qualifications Degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of technical experience as software developer in Live streaming, transcoding and webcasting Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis Strong development experience in at least one of C, C++, Golang or Rust Strong development experience using Java on Android Platform accessing/writing native libraries using JNI. Experience in any of the protocols - RTMP, RTMPS, WebRTC, HLS, SRT is a big PLUS Knowledge of video encoding and delivery to digital platforms Should have sound knowledge of how Content Delivery Networks work for Media services Should be ready to work in any dynamic situations and explore things which are unknown but conquer at the faster pace.
