Alion Science and Technology Corporation - Warren, MI - This position will provide desktop admin support to a U.S. Army Research & Development organization primarily running in Windows and Linux environments. Job Duties: General Windows Desktop Administration and trouble call assistance Perform analysis and provide solutions to difficult IT problems Involved in the debug, troubleshooting, issue investigation, root cause, and resolution of hardware/software issues Use databases to track significant issues and events for trend analysis and customer business needs Perform Information Assurance Security Manager tasks to implement and maintain automation security programs to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of of automated systems Independent research of technologies and techniques to apply to current/future IT needs Provide IT policy development support Qualifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance At least 2 years’ experience Ability to complete tasks/projects with minimal supervision Proactive in seeking out problems and their resolutions with strong critical thinking Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills Ability to work either independently or as part of a team Any of the following certifications would be a plus CompTIA A+ CompTIA Net+ CompTIA Sec+ Security Clearance: Secret... - Permanent - Full-time
