New Delhi: Apple iPhone manufacturers Foxconn and Wistron and local handset makers Karbonn, Lava and Dixon have applied for the ₹41,000-crore production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme, which seeks to establish India as an export hub rivaling northeast Asia’s electronics powerhouses.“Foxconn has filed applications through two companies Hon Hai Precision Industry Co and Rising Stars Mobile.
