Pharmacy Program Dental Insurance/ Vision Insurance Short Term Disability Retirement Savings Plan-403B with a COMPANY MATCH of 33% Company Paid Life Insurance 2 Personal Days a year Accrue Vacation time upon hire Holiday Pay Accrue Sick Time upon hire Job Responsibilities: The MDS Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), electronic transmission of RAI data to those organizations and entities defined by federal and state rules and regulations, and the dissemination of the Resource Utilization Groups (RUG's) data to nursing home management and the regional financial office and completing on-going education in the preparation of the MDS (Minimum Data Set). We will never knowingly fail to follow any state or federal rule or regulation regarding quality of care; potential abuse; or reimbursement or payment systems. Responsibilities Schedule completion of RAI following state and federal guidelines. Gather and input data into the RAI computer system Coordinate/Supervise the documentation and completion of the MDS by the interdisciplinary team. Screen each MDS for accuracy and transmit RAI data to the statutorily required entities each week. Track RUG scores and correct any errors in the allotted time frame and in the manner prescribed by the state. Participate in audits and review of the MDS Requirements. Job Requirements Must have a current license; Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in Indiana. One year of long-term care experience and familiarity with RAI preferred. Must have adequate computer skills, to accurately input data into the MDS and transmit the data. Must possess effective leadership skills, demonstrate organizational skills, and must have in-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care.
